Students at UPSAT now have the opportunity to build their entrepreneurial skills and leave university with a fully developed business idea. UPSAT has collaborated with innovation consultancy, Connect’Innov, to run an entrepreneurship programme for third-year students.Learners enter their HealthTech projects into the competition, which is judged by a panel of industry professionals.
The learners with the top projects are then entered into a mentorship programme, where they are given guidance around product design, distribution strategies and business development. This partnership began in 2020 and will continue in the 2021 Academic year, offering learners the opportunity to learn new skills in a practical, hands-on way.
